Overview
For over 33 years, Dr Olasode, a Chartered Accountant, Turnaround Economist, Leadership Consultant and Transformation specialist, has demonstrated leadership and high-level expertise in corporate strategy, organisational culture, innovation, financial turnaround, and public sector transformation. He has led major programmes across the private sector, public sector, and Government. He was once Chief Technical Adviser in the Nigerian Presidency and before that was Special Adviser and held several public appointments in the UK Government.
He holds an undergraduate degree in Accounting from Lagos, a master’s degree in Financial Economics & Investment from London, an Executive MBA from Manchester, and a PhD in Business Transformation and Leadership from Missouri. In addition, Dr Olasode is a Chartered Accountant, a Fellow of the UK Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (FCCA), and a member of the UK Institute for Public Sector Administrators (APSA). He trained with EY (Ernst & Young), leading global accountancy and professional consultancy, in Nottingham and remains disciplined with integrity, loyalty, and passion for a better society.
Governance and Leadership
Over the years, Dr Olasode has supported governance and leadership development of over five hundred (500) organisations, including private companies, Plc’s, federal and state governments, healthcare, housing organisations, charities, local government, and small businesses.
Innovation and Change Management
With multiple international trademarks and patents, Dr Olasode has spent decades supporting ideas development, innovation, transformation, and change management. His “No Box” mantra is, “if you think outside the box, you are not thinking deep enough – think without reference to a box”.
Finance, Audit, Accountancy and Tax
As an economist, finance professional, and chartered accountant, has led numerous financial turnarounds. He received a top-5 UK award in 2010 and a commendation from the former UK Prime Minister, Tony Blair.
International Development
Besides working alongside and partnering with many international development organisations, Dr Olasode has supported the highest level of government administration in the UK, Nigeria, Uganda, Ghana and the United Nations in the USA.
Entrepreneurship and Mentoring
As one who is grateful to God for mentoring received from his parents and other role models, such are Mrs Helen Taylor Thompson, Dr Christopher Kolade, General Ike Nwachukwu, Dr Olasode spends a significant amount of time mentoring and building the capacity of young entrepreneurs and ministers across Europe and Africa.
Community Development
With a passion for a better society, Dr Olasode regularly contributes to socio-economic development through a variety of means. Besides leading in Church, he runs a non-profit organization that seeks to empower women and young people using communication media and deployment of innovative technology.
